SAVE 10-20% off the total cost of the second and subsequent insertions within a 12 day publishing period in Metropolitan Newspapers

 

MetPak rewards FREQUENCY OF ADVERTISING in Metropolitan newspapers. Combined, these newspapers deliver maximum reach across the four main metropolitan areas in New Zealand, and they also provide coverage of the surrounding regional areas.

• The New Zealand Herald
• The Dominion Post
• The Press
• Otago Daily Times

Space Terms 

• Ads must run (1/4 page min) in a minimum of three out of four metropolitan dailies listed above. Waikato Times can be added to a schedule including these papers.
• Minimum of two insertions per paper to appear within twelve publishing days
• First insertion – normal client rate including normal colour and positioning charges
• Second and subsequent insertions appearing within twelve publishing days of the first receive discount level:
• The New Zealand Herald - 10%
• The Dominion Post, The Press, Otago Daily Times, Waikato Times - 20%
• Space to be up to the same total space as the MetPak first insertion booking, but a variety of sizes within total is acceptable.

2. SUPERSAVER DISCOUNT

 

SAVE 15-25% OFF EVERY INSERTION within a 12 day publishing period in Metropolitan Newspapers Mondays/Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays

 

SuperSaver provides a great solution for those clients with limited budgets but requiring extensive national reach. Advertising during weekdays provides a less cluttered environment than in higher volume days:

• The New Zealand Herald
• The Dominion Post
• The Press
• Otago Daily Times

 

Combined, these newspapers deliver maximum reach across the four main metropolitan areas in New Zealand, and they also provide coverage of the surrounding regional areas.

Space Terms

• Applies to advertising (1/4 page min) placed on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday
• Must run in all four metropolitan newspapers listed above. Waikato Times can be added to a schedule including these papers
• Minimum of two insertions per paper to appear within twelve publishing days
• Discount levels to apply per insertion:
• The New Zealand Herald - 15% per insertion
• The Dominion Post, The Press, Otago Daily Times, Waikato Times - 25% per insertion
• Space to be up to the same total space as the MetPak first insertion booking, but a variety of sizes within total is acceptable.

3. REGIONAL MAX DISCOUNT

 

SAVE UP TO 20% ON EVERY INSERTION Advertising in Regional Newspapers

 

For a Regional MAX discount, book a minimum of 3 Regional Newspapers with a minimum 80cm ad size. Rates are calculated on contract or casual rate for each newspaper with discounts increasing as more paper are added as follows:

• 3- 5 papers – 5%
• 6 – 9 papers – 10%
• 10 – 15 papers – 15%
• 16 – 18 papers – 20%

Normal colour and position charges apply. Regional MAX can only be used by accredited agencies for commission bearing rates and Regional MAX doesn't apply to Public Notices or Situations Vacant advertising.  Special conditions may apply.
