Based in Blenheim, The Marlborough Express published its first newspaper in 1866. The Marlborough Express is delivered to homes throughout the Marlborough region - Kaikoura in the south, through to Blenheim, Picton, The Marlborough Sounds and west over to Rai Valley.
The area is famous for its wine, its seafood and its tourism attractions. The region is diverse, with wine, pastoral farming, forestry and marine farming the biggest industries. The Marlborough Sounds along with the wine industry provide a strong attraction to tourists from all over the world.
The paper is published Monday to Friday on broadsheet and has a free TMC tabloid on Wednesdays (The Marlborough Midweek) and another on Saturdays (The Saturday Express).
