Te Awamutu Courier (NZME.)

The Te Awamutu Courier has been part of the community since 1911 when AG Warburton started the Waipa Post from his Alexandra Street premises.
In 1936 the name was changed to Te Awamutu Courier, and until this year have been operating from the same site (103 years).
The twice weekly publication (Tuesday and Thursday) is distributed free to about 14,000 homes in Te Awamutu and surrounding rural areas, including the villages of Kihikihi, Pirongia, Ohaupo and Kawhia, and they have a long-standing and loyal readership.
